Bright House Networks offers more ways to catch up on favorite programs

Launch of Primetime On Demand makes popular TV shows available anytime

Birmingham, Ala. - March 10, 2009 – Bright House Networks announces the launch of Primetime On Demand as another convenient way for consumers to catch up on shows they’ve missed.  Recent episodes of today’s most popular programs are now available on Primetime On Demand including such shows as Heroes and Friday Night Lights from NBC, the Survivor and CSI series from CBS, Monk from USA, Nip/Tuck from FX and many more.  Episodes appear on Primetime On Demand as soon as the day after their original air date and remain on the service for up to four weeks.  Primetime On Demand is available at no additional charge to Bright House Networks Digital Video customers on Channel 1055 in the Birmingham service area.

“We are pleased to be able to offer these popular prime-time shows for free anytime,” said Karen Broach, President, Birmingham Division.  “Between hectic schedules and tight budgets, we believe today’s consumers deserve more ways to relax and enjoy what they want to watch, when they want.  This is why we are committed to providing more options than any other video service provider.”

Several Bright House Networks markets also offer Start Over™ which allows Digital Video customers to re-start a program already in progress and then play, rewind, pause and resume the Start Over program during its original broadcast window. Bright House Networks plans to continue the expansion of Start Over this year in other markets as well as adding this free feature to more channels, including HD channels, in existing markets (Coming Soon to the Birmingham Service Area).

“Whether they just missed the beginning of a show or are a day late or a week late in catching up,” Broach continues, “our customers enjoy being in control of their TV viewing experience through Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), On Demand, , and even on the PC.”

In addition to Primetime On Demand, Bright House Networks offers hundreds of cable TV programs anytime on a variety of free On Demand services including Entertainment On Demand, Cutting Edge On Demand, Kids On Demand, Sports On Demand, and more.  A complete listing can be found at http://ontv.brighthouse.com/free/.

Bright House Networks also offers a variety of free cable programming on the PC to Road Runner High Speed Internet customers through the Road Runner Video Channel (http://video.rr.com/).  Individual TV episodes and entire series are available to download to own for as little as $1.99 per episode from the Road Runner Video Store (http://videostore.rr.com/).
